Отрицание в английском

Чтобы составить отрицательное предложение в английском языке, нам понадобится частица not.

are	are not (aren’t)	They are not here.
was	was not (wasn’t)	Peter was not angry.

have	have not (haven’t)	I have not finished my work.
has	has not (hasn’t)	James has not got a car.
will	will not (won’t)	We won’t be late tomorrow.
can	cannot (can’t)	Ivan can’t sing.
could	could not (couldn’t)	I couldn’t sleep last night.
must	must not (mustn’t)	I must not forget to phone Chris.
should	should not (shouldn’t)	You shouldn’t train so hard.
would	would not (wouldn’t)	I would not like to be a doctor.

Отрицание в present simple и past simple

Отрицание в present simple и past simple образуется с помощью вспомогательного глагола do / does или did соответственно.

I want to go out.	I don’t want to go out.	Я не хочу выходить на улицу.
They work hard.	They don’t work hard.	Они не работают усердно.
Tania plays the piano.	Tania doesn’t play the piano.	Таня не играет на пианино.
My mother likes her job.	My mother doesn’t like her job.	Моя мама не любит свою работу.

I got up early this morning.	I didn’t get up early this morning.	Я не встал рано этим утром.
